Each parish must have a Finance Council as required under Church Canon Law. The council serves as a financial advisory board to the pastor. The council meets quarterly. Each year the council reviews and makes recommendations regarding the annual budget plan. They review the parish income and expenditures compared to the current year’s budget and provide advice and counsel on the management of cash reserves.
