The St. Vincent De Paul Food Shelf at St. Bonaventure in Bloomington is open on Tuesdays from 11 am to 1 pm and on Fridays from 2 - 4 pm. The food shelf is located in the Northwest entrance of the Activity Building. If you are driving please park in the lot south of church and walk west past door #9, following the signs until you reach the second door. Please bring proof (Driver's License, utility bill) that you are a Bloomington or Richfield resident. No appointment is necessary. Clients are invited to receive food one time per calendar month.
The St Vincent De Paul Society is a Catholic lay organization offering tangible assistance to those in need on a person-to-person basis. It is this personalized involvement that makes the work of the Society unique. In the Twin Cities, the St. Vincent De Paul Society operates three thrift stores and helps thousand in the community through its local parish conferences. The dignity of each individual is maintained by accepting donations and in turn, offering shoppers items of quality and in working order.

The goal of the Minneapolis/St Paul St Vincent DePaul Council is to provide person-to-person service to the needy, experience friendship among members, and grow in holiness through commitment to the poor. The St Bonaventure group helps at the St Vincent de Paul thrift shop, maintains a food shelf at St Bonaventure and assists family with monetary needs. The St Bonaventure group meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month.
